안녕하세요. 경기외국어고등학교 국제부입니다.
고려대학교가 주최한 모의유엔 대회 'MUNCCC'에서 본교 1학년 박하율(1310) 학생이 Honorable Mention상(3등)을 수상했습니다.
박하율 학생은 방글라데시 대표단으로 참가하여 '기후변화로 인한 난민 문제'와 'BBNJ 협정'을 주제로 해결 방안을 모색했습니다.
기후 취약국이자 개발도상국인 방글라데시의 입장을 충실히 대변하며 국가 간 협상과 토론에 적극적으로 참여했으며, 뛰어난 분석력과 의사소통 역량을 인정받았습니다.
이번 수상은 학생의 꾸준한 노력과 지도 교사의 세심한 지도가 함께 만들어 낸 소중한 결실입니다.
앞으로도 경기외국어고등학교는 학생들이 다양한 도전을 통해 세계를 향한 꿈을 키우고 성장할 수 있도록 적극적으로 응원하고 함께하겠습니다.

Greetings from the International Affairs Department of Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages.
At MUNCCC, a Model United Nations conference hosted by Korea University, first-year student Ha-yul Park (1310) received an Honorable Mention, the conference’s third-highest distinction.
Representing Bangladesh, the student explored potential solutions to climate-induced displacement and issues related to the implementation of the BBNJ Agreement.
By effectively presenting the position of Bangladesh as a climate-vulnerable developing country, the student actively contributed to negotiations and debates among delegates and was recognized for outstanding analytical and communication skills.
This meaningful achievement was made possible through the student’s dedication and the thoughtful guidance of the supervising teacher.
Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages will continue to encourage and support our students as they embrace new challenges, pursue their aspirations, and grow into globally minded individuals.
