On June 15th, the Japanese/Chinese Speaking Contest was held. Students could choose from either Chinese or Japanese and the two groups were once again divided into A and B. Those who lived in China or in Japan for more than a year were assigned to group A while others were put into group B. With great interest from all students, regardless of their divisions, the competition started from selecting the speech script. Those who got through were able to present their speeches. 13 students in a small group, making approximately 60 students in total, had the chance to actually present their own speech. Various subjects were introduced by the presenters as each speech was made. Though the contest was full of tension, it ended with lots of enthusiasm.
