The New Policy Cast upon GAFL

  Last year, The administration of education in Gyeonggido announced that every school in Gyeonggido should take the policy, '9'o clock attending school'. GAFL-Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages-started to follow this policy from this year. As this new policy effects largely on the students, there seem to be huge changes in Gaflians' life.

  Of course, the biggest difference for students is the change of rising hour and the bedtime. As those are delayed about 1 hour, students should go to school until 9, and the dormitory opens at 7 in the morning. This seems to be both advantage and disadvantage depending on students. Some students who usually wake up early say that even though they want to attend school early than 7, the dormitory opens too late, and they complain they're tired going to bed at 1'o clock at night. Also they complain that the scholastic ability test starts at 8 but the new policy doesn't make sense with it. Besides, other students are being happy that they can sleep well until 8 in the morning, and have spare time to do some unfinished works before the class starts.

  Also, the meal time has changed. students can have each meal 1 hour later than before. The small food provided by school cafeteria after the evening also disappeared. Students have to bring their own snacks or buy somethig to eat from school cafe.

  The lunch time and self-studying time changed, too. Both of them are shortened about 10 minutes.
