The Fourth Industrial Revolution_ How Should Humans React?

When we look at the speed of the society being developed, we can find out that many people are
using their efforts in developing the ‘science’ part with the purpose of enhancing people’s life to be
“convenient”.
However, there are some voices of concern because the intelligence that robots have are going viral
and humans don't have a specific plan of how to respond to these phenomenons.
There will be new education systems such as MOOC(Massive Open Online Course) which is already
having a high impact for students who prepare to go to a university. MOOC is a system that allows
students to access to university lectures through an Internet system, and we expect that these systems
will make a conspicuous change in the demand for humans in the working field. Since AI have
infinite knowledge they can contain, and can also calculate fast, working places that required massive
amount of math will go to a reduction since this is a problem ‘human-to-robot’.
To this trend which requires humans to think about another way to get a job, we can come to a
result that humans need to develop something that is different with robots, in other words, something
that is one of a kind related with our ‘sentiments’. Humans need to develop jobs that are related with
empathy, consolation and so on, and today is the starting point to spread our creativity so that
humans can coexist with robots.
Industry 4.0 is now going on, and many people concern that humans will lose their influence and
negative events will occur successively since AI will conquer the whole world. However, humans will
not be extincted easily if humans have firm minds and plans about the future. I will end this article
with my hope that humans will organize their own plans about how to respond and adapt to the
Industrial 4.0.
